Three Sisters Springs provide critical habitat for manatee populations that migrate here mid-November until the late March. During the summer months manatee leave the springs and look for food in the warmer waters of Kings Bay and other areas in the Gulf of Mexico. If you would like to swim with manatees you can do so by scheduling a tour or water craft rental with independent vendors. You can also swim in Three Sisters Springs by by getting out on the water (kayak/canoe/SUP/boating/etc.) and using a launch/boat ramp in town.
Meet the Manatees
The Three Sisters Springs Refuge does not offer any water access facilities. You can swim or enter the water in Three Sisters Springs by boat (kayak/canoe/SUP/boating/etc.) only.
