Both the trolley and boardwalk are handicap accessible.
Can I use my Federal Refuge Pass to Enter?
As a concessionaire the City will NOT be accepting any federal refuge passes this year. Annual passes for visitors to walk on the property are available for purchase this year for very reasonable prices. All passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are available for individuals ($25) or Family passes include up to six people ($60). This pass does not include transportation to Three Sisters or Parking at Three Sisters.
Can I drive my vehicle to the springs? There is no public parking allowed on site. The only access to the Three Sisters Springs Refuge is via our trolleys. Click here to book your Trolley Tour now!
When is the best time to visit? The springs regardless of the time of year are always stunning. The best times for manatee viewing are during cold fronts and tidal changes after November 15th. Click here to get your tickets today!
Can I bring my dog? Only certified service animals are allowed on the boardwalk.
What else is there to do other than the boardwalk? This year we are offering guided tours everyday to explore this magnificent property. New this year are more trails for visitors to explore this property.
Can we swim in the springs, rent kayaks or swim with the manatee's on this tour? Our tours are land based and focus on the unique ecosystems and species that are found onsite (wetlands, springs, mammals, birds...etc). To swim in the springs, rent kayaks or canoes, or to swim with the manatee's there are numerous qualified guides and rentals company's available in Crystal River that provide those services. A simple google search will help you to find a guide.
What amenities are located on site? We have bathrooms and wash stations onsite. There is no potable water or electricity available.
What areas or trails are open? Click here for a map of the boardwalk, open trails and wildlife viewing areas that are open.
Can I take photos? Yes! There are opportunities to photograph manatees from the boardwalk and birds from the wetland trails. Please stay on the trails and in open areas for your safety. Please respect wildlife; camera extension poles (aka selfie-sticks) are not allowed.
